Human Rights Organization Blows Up About the One Thing Trump Didn’t Mention in His UN Speech

President Donald Trump gave a speech to the U.N. General Assembly on Tuesday. In the speech, he made a lot of points about the major issues facing the world.

The U.S.’s share of the burden paying for world security:

The Iranian nuclear deal:

Global terrorism:

And of course, North Korea:

But it was an issue that Trump didn’t talk about that drew the ire of the Human Rights Campaign:

The International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association provides a map of LGBTQ rights in the world:


As one can see, much of the world lags behind the U.S. in terms of LGBTQ protections. That isn’t to say any nation is perfect, but the president has only so much time in his speech, and it might be forgiven if he concentrated spending them on averting catastrophic war.
