The Daily Caller, a conservative website, invited the wrath of the internet after the publication of a stunning article targeting President Donald Trump’s 11-year-old son, Barron, on Monday.
The headline of the article reads, “It’s High Time Barron Trump Starts Dressing Like He’s In the White House.”Screenshot/The Daily Caller
The post, authored by the site’s entertainment reporter, Ford Springer, goes on to criticize Trump’s young son for dressing like the 11-year-old child that he is:
“[Barron’s] dad is always looking dapper and his mom has become a worldwide fashion icon since becoming first lady. The youngest Trump doesn’t have any responsibilities as the president’s son, but the least he could do is dress the part when he steps out in public.”
The internet reacted like a mama bear, defending Barron Trump and declaring the president’s kid off-limits. The reaction was pretty bipartisan, too.
It's high time the media & everyone leave Barron Trump alone & let him have the private childhood he deserves https://t.co/Wxq51TvgDX

No. Barron Trump should be off-limits. He's 11 years old: who cares how he dresses? pic.twitter.com/CuJ1hD9ByF
