The Internet Is Losing Its Mind Over President Trump’s Shocking ‘Fire and Fury’ Threat Against North Korea

Social media has lost its collective mind in response to President Donald Trump’s no-holds-barred warning to North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un.

“North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States,” the president told reporters Tuesday. “They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen.”

Trump’s comments come on the heels of a new U.S. intelligence assessment that concluded the hermit kingdom has developed the ability to construct a nuclear warhead small enough to fit on top of a ballistic missile, including an intercontinental missile capable of reaching the United States, CBS News reported.

But it was Trump’s choice of words that set off a metaphorical bomb on Twitter.

Even Dan Pfeiffer, who served as a policy adviser to former President Barack Obama, gave his two cents on the matter, throwing in a “Game of Thrones” joke for good measure.

It’s worth noting that, in 2013, Trump tweeted that then-President Barack Obama “must be very careful” with the “wack job in North Korea.”

How times have changed.
