FACT: The number of abortions in the U.S. are at the lowest point since Roe v. Wade.
Both pro-choice and pro-life factions publicly claim this as a good thing and also claim to be responsible for the decline. This decline doesn’t keep the issue from being any less charged politically.
This year’s March For Life and Women’s March respectively shone a light on the enormous amount of disparity there still is on the issue in America. Independent Journal Review sent reporters to the Women’s March and covered the enormous size of the crowd and nuances of the attendees. It seems fair to report on the size of the historic March For Life Friday, as well.
The March For Life is 44 years old.
Its marchers were all ages.
And all political perspectives.
Vice President Mike Pence joined the march at their rally, the first time a sitting White House administration official has been present at the event.
After a rally on the National Mall…
…the marchers walked the 1.5 miles to the Supreme Court.
The crowd was 20-people across.
Here is what that looks like:
They held signs.
Marched past the Capitol.
And to the Supreme Court.
Once at the Supreme Court, they prayed.
And continued to march around the Capitol.
It’s a passionate movement.
National Park Service officials, speaking to IJR on background, noted the attendance to be over 100,000.
But don’t take our word for it — you can watch this video:
Wow! Check out this awesome time lapse of the entire March for Life!

Whatever opinion someone holds holds on the abortion issue, Americans continue to cherish the right to let their voices be heard.
