Conservatives are praising the Trump administration as the economy is soaring and records are being broken.

The unemployment rate in April hit a new record in nearly 50 years as it dropped to 3.6 percent — it was 3.5 percent in December of 1969 — with 263,000 new hires.

“JOBS, JOBS, JOBS!” President Donald Trump tweeted in response to the record news.

The U.S. economy also saw a 3.2 percent growth in the first quarter of the year, outpacing expectations by Dow Jones of 2.5 percent.

Conservatives were quick to praise the president over the record numbers.

Vice President Mike Pence applauded the economic records for “ROARING” under Trump’s leadership.

Pence also told Fox News the growing U.S. economy is “really remarkable.”

“What people are witnessing is that the agenda that President Trump ran on and that we’ve been delivering on over the last two years is working for every American,” the vice president said.

“This jobs report […] is simply a confirmation of what the president has said all along — you let Americans keep more of what they earned. You cut taxes on individuals and businesses. You rollback federal red tape. You unleash American energy. You fight for the kind of trade deals that put American jobs and American workers first. — that the American economy would come roaring back and we’re witnessing it.”

“The job market is on [fire] and unemployment is at a 49-year low!” House Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) tweeted.

He continued:

“It’s clear the pro-growth policies Republicans worked with @realDonaldTrump to make the law of the land are working. Why would we reverse this booming economy with the Democrats’ socialist programs and high taxes?”
