Meghan McCain ignited some fireworks on “The View” on Monday after co-host Joy Behar used former President George H.W. Bush’s death to bash the president currently in office.
Behar had just quoted Bush commenting on the greenhouse effect, explaining that he also passed the Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990.
“This president that we have now is trying to unravel everything that he did and Obama did — and if I ever become a one-issue voter, it will be about pollution,” Behar said.
McCain chimed in, asking if the panel could avoid talking about President Donald Trump.
“I don’t want to talk about Trump,” McCain said before Behar responded, “Well, I do.”
McCain eventually told Behar that she wasn’t “interested” in her one-issue voting.
“I don’t care what you’re interested in. I’m talking,” Behar shot back.
