Rapper Kanye West met with President Donald Trump at the White House to discuss prison reform, manufacturing, and gang violence in Chicago — he also dropped his thoughts on SNL’s mockery of the president.

West, sporting a Make America Great Again hat, barked at Saturday Night Live (SNL) and liberals for their continued mockery of the president.

With fury, West said what he thinks SNL and liberal needs to improve on:

“If he don’t look good — we don’t look good. This is our president.”

He then added that the U.S. needs to bring more jobs into the country because “when we make everything in China and not in America, then we’re cheating on our country.”

West recently had a showdown with SNL when he was booed by the audience as he gave a pro-Trump speech while wearing a MAGA hat.

He then claimed that he was bullied backstage for wearing the MAGA hat during SNL.

“They bullied me backstage. They said, ‘Don’t go out there with that hat on.’ They bullied me backstage. They bullied me! And then they say I’m in a sunken place,” West said, The Washington Examiner reported.

Trump supported West following the SNL episode writing, “He’s leading the charge!”

West took the extra moment during his meeting at the White House to stand up for the president against SNL’s previous mockery.

  1. It’s a TV show. One that i would have thought would be beneath the ongoing notice of a sitting president with the exception of a cameo during election season.

In the grand scheme of the world, a Saturday Night Live skit shouldn’t be enough to impact how the world views us.

    • The world does not need SNL to judge Trump. They have the real thing. The 2017 NATO conference where he shoved the PM of Montanegro and then the big strong Trump rode a golf cart while the female prime ministers walked with the other male leaders. The world has the Saudis putting Trump’s face on their buildings and Trump folding like a cheap suit to the flattery. The world has the news conference at the G7 and when the other world leaders indicated Trump’s version of events was incorrect he claimed he would not sign the G7 agreement–BUT he did. .The news conference in Singapore where Trump said Kim Jung Un was loved by his people.—a brutal dictator loved, that was not a SNL skit. Then Trump had the news conference in Helsinki where he could not come up with a reason Putin would interfere in US election—a statement he was forced by his staff to “revise.” Then you had the North Korea denuclearization claim that was denounced by his own intelligence agencies. And how could the BBC and German media pass up the chance to report on Trump’s claim at his West Virginia rally that he and Kim Jung Un fell in love—again, not a SNL skit, just the Trump Presidential reality .show.

  2. Like the principled guy who says he doesn’t drink and wouldn’t even for a million bucks (of course he’s a millionaire and can easily forego a million dollar payoff) Kanye too can afford to thumb his nose at his dull critics as he’s an original thinker and artist, successful and cool without all the sheeple saying so. A strange duck to be sure but I’m of the mind that those who can ignore and disavow mob views, especially those associated with race and Trump should be listened to. I call his lunch with POTUS courageous. Never thought I’d say Kanye West is refreshing, but I am now.
