Following reports that she told deputy White House press secretary Hogan Gidley to “suck my d**k” at the White House Correspondents’ dinner, comedian Kathy Griffin took to Twitter to confirm the encounter.

“Yup…this is true….,” she tweeted along with a screenshot of a Washington Blade article recounting the incident.

During the event over the weekend, Gidley reportedly passed by Griffin, who was at the Washington Blade’s table. She asked him, “How do you sleep at night?”

“Very well, thank you,” he said, adding when Griffin expressed doubt about his statement, “Are we really gonna do this?”

“Yes we are,” the comedian shot back. “Suck my d**k! No, really, suck my d**k!”

The Washington Blade reported that “there was some back-and-forth, then Gidley, who was holding a Tecate, announced he was off to enjoy his Mexican beer ‘before we build the wall and you can’t get these anymore.'”

Griffin’s final message to Gidley before he walked away was, “f**k you,” which the Washington Blade reported was met with nervous laughter from around the table.

The comedian has been in headlines lately after once again complaining about the backlash she received for her bloody photo shoot featuring the fake, decapitated head of President Donald Trump last year.

On Monday, she appeared on ABC’s “The View,” where she retracted her apology for the disturbing photo.

“I take the apology back,” she said. “F**k him.”
