Larry Elder Takes Chris Cuomo of CNN to the Woodshed for Equating ‘Fake News’ to Racism

It appears that Chris Cuomo isn’t getting away with equating the term “fake news” with racial slurs that easily.

On Thursday, the CNN “New Day” anchor addressed a tweet in which President Trump referred to Cuomo’s recent interview as “fake news.”

Cuomo responded by reprimanding President Trump. During a “New Day” segment, Cuomo said:

“Fake news’ is the worst thing that you could call a journalist,” Cuomo said. “It’s like an ethnic disparagement. We all have these ugly words for people, and that’s the one for journalists.”

Cuomo later apologized for another comment he made on a radio show, in which he compared ‘fake news’ to the n-word. But the damage had already been done:

Larry Elder, Hollywood Walk of Fame recipient and political commentator, didn’t let Cuomo off that easily.

The comebacks were both stinging and relentless:

And they just kept coming:

Larry Elder, an outspoken conservative, frequently discusses his unique perspective via his Townhall column, through his frequent guest appearances on Fox News, and on his own radio talk show. Elder has defended fellow black conservatives from critics in left-leaning Hollywood– specifically from those in the hip-hop and rap community.
