Businessman LaVar Ball and President Donald Trump do not see eye to eye on various issues, but they agree on what football players who are upset with the NFL’s new rules for protests during the national anthem should do: leave the league.
TMZ asked Ball about the new policy, and he said the NFL is going too far by banning protests but noted it has the right to do so since it is its own league.
“It’s their league. If you don’t want to do it, get out their league,” Ball explained.

“That’s why I got my own league,” Ball added. “Do what I want.”
Ball said his Junior Basketball Association will play the national anthem.
Trump took his stance a step further and suggested players who do not stand for the anthem should probably leave the country.
“You shouldn’t be playing, you shouldn’t be there. Maybe they shouldn’t be in the country,” Trump said following the announcement of the NFL’s new policy. “The NFL owners did the right thing if that’s what they’ve done.”
