Law and Order: Cornyn Takes a Stand for ICE Agents

Well, here we are again, folks. Senator John Cornyn is back with a fresh legislative proposal to protect our beleaguered ICE agents from a startling rise in violence, because apparently, some factions of society think running over the people upholding our immigration laws is just a fun Saturday night activity. The ICE Protection Act aims to hike penalties for those who dare assault our brave law enforcement, and let me tell you, it’s about time someone put their foot down on this nonsense.

In typical “Radical Left” fashion, they’ve managed to turn their disdain for ICE into a literal assault on their personnel. Cornyn’s statistics are eye-popping—with a 3200% increase in vehicular attacks? That’s not just armor-clad rhetoric; it’s time for action. The good senator is clearly sending a message that they won’t stand idly by while ICE agents are treated like piñatas at a birthday party. Perhaps more Democrats should focus on, oh, I don’t know, respecting the well-paid professionals who protect our borders rather than likening them to “slave patrols.”

Should Congress pass the ICE Protection Act to increase penalties for assaults on ICE agents?

It’s clear Cornyn is also playing the political game wisely ahead of the midterms. In a tight primary race, he can talk tough on law and order and say, “Hey, I care!” while his opponents navigate the minefield of woke ideology. Cornyn’s allies from a range of states are jumping on this, proving that even in a polarized world, a commitment to law enforcement shouldn’t be a radical stance. If you’re looking for more proof that supporting ICE can be a bipartisan issue, this bill is your golden ticket. This could very well become a rallying cry for everyday Americans fed up with crime and disorder—a sentiment that resonates deeply as we gear up for Election Day.
