Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Vice President Joe Biden are longtime friends from their time in the Senate.
During Graham’s reelection campaign in 2013, Biden offered to campaign “for him or against him, whichever will help the most” and made a special appearance at Graham’s official retirement ceremony from the Air Force Reserves last June. Graham told The Huffington Post:
“If you can’t admire Joe Biden as a person, then it’s probably, you got a problem. You need to do some self evaluation, because, what’s not to like?”
