A clip of actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus at the premiere for the final season of HBO’s “Veep” is going viral after she proclaimed she “f**king better” live to see a female president.

Louis-Dreyfus, who stars as Selina Meyer on HBO’s political comedy “Veep,” voiced her hope to have a woman serve as president when asked if it’s something the actress believes she will see in her lifetime.

“I f**king better, yeah,” the actress proclaimed in a clip that has since gone viral on Twitter.

Louis-Dreyfus hasn’t officially endorsed a presidential candidate but if she decides to support a woman, she has a few options. The 2020 Democratic primary race already has a record-breaking number of women, including Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii), Sens. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.), Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.), Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), and Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.).

However, former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has warned that women still face obstacles while seeking the presidency, including perceptions that they can be seen as “angry” or “aggressive” for standing up for themselves.

In addition to her statement on sending a woman to the White House, Louis-Dreyfus has been vocal in her support for women’s empowerment before with her support of the “#MeToo” movement. During the confirmation of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, Louis-Dreyfus signed and helped circulate a letter written from attendees of Christine Blasey Ford’s high school who believed Ford was telling the truth.

“I was class of ’79 & signed this letter,” Louis-Dreyfus tweeted last November.

My goal is to live to see America SANE Again before I die. Don’t care about the gender, party affiliation, religion, age or race of the POTUS. I just want to see the American electorate select a candidate on qualifications, reality based platforms, and moral leadership qualities.
