Maxine Waters Goes Off the Rails, Encourages People to Harass Trump Admin Out of Restaurants and Gas Stations

During a rally over the weekend, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) encouraged people to create a crowd and harass members of the Trump administration out of any place they are at.

Waters’ call to action comes after members of the Metro D.C. Democratic Socialists of America heckled Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen while at a restaurant and after another restaurant asked White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders to leave the establishment because she worked for President Donald Trump.

“If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd, and you push back on them, and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere,” Waters told a cheering crowd.

“And guess what? We are going to win this battle,” Waters added. “Because while you try and quote the Bible, Jeff Sessions and others, you really don’t know the Bible. God is on our side!”

Immigration protesters also hosted a rally outside of Nielsen’s townhouse early Friday morning. They held signs reading “Child Snatcher” and played audio of immigrant children crying at a U.S. Customs and Border Protection facility.

Many have heavily criticized Waters’ comments. House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.), who survived being shot by a fervent Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-Vt.) supporter during a Congressional Baseball Game practice in 2017, said civility and respect is always the better option.
