First lady Melania Trump’s spokesperson is breaking the first lady’s silence in response to President Donald Trump’s recent swipe at teen climate activist Greta Thunberg.

Thunberg, 16, found herself taking a hit from the president after Time’s named her Person of the Year for 2019.

“So ridiculous. Greta must work on her Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend!” Trump wrote on Twitter in response, adding, “Chill Greta, Chill!”

The teenage climate activist didn’t hold back, as she responded by changing her Twitter profile to read: “A teenager working on her anger management problem. Currently chilling and watching a good old fashioned movie with a friend.”

The Trump 2020 campaign then released a photo of the president’s face pasted on Thunberg’s Time’s cover for Person of the Year.

Check it out below:

Following the exchange, the first lady’s initiative, “Be Best,” trended on Twitter, as users looked to call out the first lady over her husband’s remarks.

See some of the reactions below:

However, Melania Trump didn’t stay silent, as her spokesperson Stephanie Grisham responded in a statement on Friday.

“Be Best is the first lady’s initiative, and she will continue to use it to do all she can to help children,” Grisham wrote, adding, “It is no secret that the president and first lady often communicate differently – as most married couples do.”

The statement continued to point out that the president and first lady’s son, Barron Trump, is “not an activist who travels the globe.”

“Their son is not an activist who travels the globe giving speeches. He is a 13-year-old who wants and deserves privacy.”

Melania Trump isn’t the only first lady to respond to the controversial remarks made by the president, as former first lady Michelle Obama defended Thunberg.

Obama told Thunberg, per Twitter on Friday, to not “let anyone dim your light.”

“Like the girls I’ve met in Vietnam and all over the world, you have so much to offer us all. Ignore the doubters and know that millions of people are cheering you on,” the former first lady tweeted.

Thunberg has made it known that she “will be home for Christmas and then I will take a holiday break because you need to take rest,” as IJR reported.

“No person her age is an expert!” Jill

You are confused, Jill.

Greta doesn’t CLAIM to be an expert. She keeps on telling everyone to LISTEN to the experts. You aren’t listening.

Greta has no light, only anger and darkness, along with talking points she learned from the Left regarding a subject about which she knows nothing. Someone put her up to this and is enabling her. She is a “useful idiot” of the Left.

For every claimed “SCIENTIFIC” argument, that there is such a thing as man made “CLIMATE CHANGE”……..there is at least another “SCIENTIFIC” argument that supports that it doesn’t? How come we rarely see any of that information in all/any media reporting while making their supporting arguments that it does? We all know the answer don’t we? It has something to do with a “NARRATIVE” doesn’t it?
