During the episode of “The View,” things got heated with sharp comments toward the first lady.
ABC News correspondent Tom Llamas joined the cast of “The View” to discuss his exclusive interview with Melania Trump, during which, they talked about the first lady’s answers to questions about her marriage and President Donald Trump.
“It is not concern and focus of mine,” Trump said during the interview, shrugging off the alleged affairs made against her husband.
“I’m a mother and a First Lady, and I have much more important things to think about, and to do. I know people like to speculate, and media like to speculate, about our marriage, and circulate the gossip. But I understand the gossip sells newspapers, magazines, getting advertisers and, unfortunately, we live in this kind of world today.”
“Yes, we are fine,” Trump said, responding to Llamas’ question about if she still loved her husband. “Yes. It’s what media speculate, and it’s gossip. It’s not always correct stuff.”
Q: "Do you love your husband?"

“The View” takes a swipe at the first lady:
“The View” guest co-host Yvette Nicole Brown commented right after they previewed Trump saying, “Is it possible that she’s not concerned with his mistresses because she was one of them?”
Abby Huntsman then quickly jumped in, directing her comments toward Llamas saying, “You specifically asked her if she loved her husband.”
Melania’s spokesperson defended the first lady:
After the show aired, Trump’s spokesperson Stephanie Grisham tweeted, “She’s your @FLOUTS — she deserves your respect & certainly not your lies.”
She called Brown’s comment “disgusting.”
Day 2 of attacks from @TheView. @YNB check your facts before you accuse someone of being a mistress. She’s your @FLOTUS – she deserves your respect & certainly not your lies. Disgusting. #disrespectful #accusation #LiberalMedia @TomLlamasABC @ABCWorldNews

Llamas made a final remark on “The View”:
During the same episode, Llamas wanted to make something clear.
“Before we go, I do want to say something. There was a comment made at this table today about Mrs. Trump,” Llamas said.
“I just want to say, whether you like her or you don’t like her, she deserves our respect ’cause she is our First Lady.”
Reluctantly, Brown answered, “I don’t respect her.”
Watch the video below:
Brown quickly responded to the White House’s statement, apparently wanting nothing to do with the first lady and showed no respect, saying, “I don’t have to bow down to dear leader leader or his third wife.”
I stand by every word I said.
My mom taught me that respect is earned. And thankfully we live in a nation–at least for now–where I don't have to bow down to dear leader or his third wife.
I own them. ✊? https://t.co/QqgQVvPG7S

The attack toward the first lady comes the day after Brown said the first lady has no room to speak because “she has an orange horse in the race” — talking about a segment of the exclusive interview when Trump claimed she is one of the most bullied people in the world.
“She is not the woman to say anything to me or any other woman about #MeToo, Time’s Up, Black Lives Matter. I’m not listening to her about anything she has to say,” Brown said on “The View” yesterday.
