It was muy bueno for the top 10% of this country, but it had the opposite effect for most of us. It widened the wealth-gap and there was no “trickle down effect” because all the wealthy can do with extra wealth is park it or hide it overseas.
Anybody who thinks that THAT is how we improve the economy, the country in general, or how we improve the lives of the vast majority of us is confused.
So more necessary programs will be cut or see less contribution and just what we need, ultra wealthy getting even more money. People don’t realize these wealthy folks and mega corporations get rebates. They get OUR tax dollars. The same people who complain “I don’t want my money going to give healthcare to everybody” are cool giving money to Jeff Bezos and oil companies. Why? Because they are not told that
