Actor Mickey Rourke is no longer living in the Los Angeles house he had been renting after a court judgment returned the property to its landlord.

According to Page Six, court documents filed Monday in Los Angeles County Superior Court show the residence on Drexel Avenue has officially been placed back under the control of its owner, Eric T. Goldie.

The judgment was entered by default, meaning Rourke did not appear in court or respond to the complaint before the legal deadline.

The development comes after legal filings in December demanded that the 73-year-old actor either vacate the property within three days or pay $59,100 in unpaid rent.

In the weeks that followed, Rourke was spotted moving belongings out of the home. Photographs taken in January showed a U-Haul truck parked in the driveway as items were removed from the residence.

Around the same time, reports indicated the “Iron Man 2” actor had temporarily relocated to a luxury hotel in West Hollywood, California. Rooms at the hotel reportedly start at $550 per night.

The eviction dispute also drew attention online when a GoFundMe campaign was launched in Rourke’s name.

The fundraiser was created by Liya-Joelle Jones and aimed to raise $100,000 to help prevent the eviction.

Rourke quickly distanced himself from the effort.

In an Instagram video posted in January, the actor strongly denied any connection to the fundraiser and made clear he had not asked for financial assistance.

While holding a small dog in the video, he pushed back against the idea that he would seek public donations.

“I wouldn’t know what a GoFund[Me] foundation is in a million years,” Rourke said.

The actor also rejected the idea of accepting charitable help.

“If I needed money, I wouldn’t ask for no f–king charity,” he said. “I’d rather stick a gun up my ass and pull the trigger … My life is very simple, I wouldn’t go to outside sources like that.”

Rourke’s manager, Kimberly Hines, told TMZ earlier this year that the actor has been receiving offers for new work but has been selective about the projects he takes.

According to Hines, Rourke has been holding out for high-paying opportunities and is unwilling to accept roles that pay less than $200,000 per day.

Despite that stance, some insiders have suggested the actor’s finances have been unpredictable over the years.

“He’s rich poor if that makes sense,” one source told the Daily Mail in January.

The insider claimed Rourke has earned substantial money through acting roles and appearances, but often spends it quickly.

“He has outlets to make substantial amounts of money by doing films and reality shows, but he spends it so fast that he is at square one right around the time that he starts making money,” the source said.
