Meanwhile, Piker has previously found himself embroiled in controversies over alleged antisemitic remarks, proving that in the ever-charming world of progressivism, checking for tattoos might be as essential as assessing ideology.
Piker, who seemingly takes great pride in his leftist credentials, deflected attention from his own messy past by labeling Platner’s tattoo as a red flag. Perhaps it’s more of a branding cue for Progressives: Shouldn’t the party be more concerned with policies than past military service—or at least think twice before getting ink that evokes a history lesson?

It’s hard not to chuckle at how a Democratic governor can be considered a voice of reason in a primary battle against someone who supposedly embodies extreme leftism. If it weren’t so serious, it might actually be entertaining! But as the Democrats strut around, we’re left to ponder: Is this the best they have to offer? Perhaps they should consider trading their tattoos for a more sustainable platform, or at minimum, a better PR agency.
