Netflix Fires Michelle Wolf After She Fails to Attract Enough Viewers

Netflix reportedly cancelled comedian Michelle Wolf’s show after only three months on the streaming service. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Wolf’s show “The Break With Michelle Wolf” simply failed to get enough viewers to justify a second season.

Wolf has made a name for herself for promoting progressive causes and criticizing high-profile Republicans.

Within her three months at the streaming service, she made plenty of controversial comments, including a vicious attack on Ivanka Trump, President Donald Trump’s daughter. She also received widespread criticism over a skit in which she saluted abortion.

Watch at the end of the clip below:

Wolf, who previously worked with “Late Night with Seth Meyers” and “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah,” caught a flurry of media attention when she attacked White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders during her performance at the White House Correspondents Dinner earlier this year.

Many took umbrage with what appeared to be jokes about Sanders’ appearance.

While some were upset about the cancelation, others seemed happy:

“A little more than a month after Michelle Wolf’s disgusting ‘Salute to Abortion’, @netflix took her advice and decided to abort her show,” director Robby Starbuck tweeted.
