No fatalities were reported when a Delta flight crashed while landing at Toronto Pearson International Airport Monday.

According to a report from ABC News, the plane was upside-down on the snowy ground.

Airport officials said 17 passengers were taken to hospitals.

None of the injuries were considered life-threatening, per Peel Regional Paramedic Services.

One child, a man in his 60s and a woman in her 40s had critical injuries, said officials at Ornge, which provided medical transport.

Twelve others had mild injuries, Peel Regional Paramedics Services said.

Toronto Pearson President and CEO Deborah Flint credited the emergency response for no loss of life.

“There was no loss of life, and this is in due part to our heroic and trained professionals, our first responders at the airport,” Flint said Monday evening.

There were 76 passengers and four crew members who were on evacuated from Flight 4819, Delta and the Federal Aviation Administration said.

The flight originated in Minneapolis and held 22 Canadians, Flint said.

“Our primary focus is taking care of those impacted,” Delta said.

Investigation into the cause of the crash is underway, sources told ABC News.

The Transportation Safety Board of Canada will take charge of the investigation, the FAA said.
