AOC Slams Creepy ‘Older Male’ Republican for Taking Picture with Her Cardboard Cutout — He’s a Democrat

In a since-deleted tweet, Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) attempted to paint Republicans as creeps for taking photos with her cardboard cutout only to realize it was a Democrat in the photo.

The congresswoman retweeted a post from the Kentucky Republican Party that included a photograph of House Budget Committee Chairman John Yarmuth (D-Ky.) standing next to a cardboard cutout of Ocasio-Cortez.

Ocasio-Cortez hopped on Twitter to condemn the tweet from the Kentucky GOP, but not because of the content. Instead, she focused on the photo and alluded to the creepiness of an “older male” taking a photo with “cardboard cutouts of young female legislators.”

The only problem is that Yarmuth is a Democrat, not a member of the GOP — a small detail Ocasio-Cortez seems to have forgotten despite co-sponsoring legislation reintroduced by Yarmuth earlier this month.

Ocasio-Cortez must have realized she just accused Congressman Yarmuth of being both a creep and a Republican and quickly deleted the tweet — but not before several people caught her mistake and called her out.

Take a look:

Other than deleting the tweet, Ocasio-Cortez has not yet acknowledged her mistake.

This is not the first time that Ocasio-Cortez has botched the details of a claim she made on Twitter. As IJR previously reported, the Congresswoman’s tweets have prompted social media users to teach her lessons on several topics, including economics, history, and health care.

*sigh* another day, another gaffe by Omitted-Cortex.

On the plus side, she does provide comic relief.

This twit is so stupid she shouldn’t be permitted to walk around without a German Shepherd holding her onto a leach.
