The Philadelphia Eagles aren’t winging it when it comes to an advertisement purporting the team endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris.

The organization is downright stating the advertisement is “counterfeit” and is not an official advertisement by the organization, Fox News reported.

The poster features Harris sporting an Eagles helmet and holding a football with the words “Kamala, official candidate of the Philadelphia Eagles” printed at the bottom.

The organization was quick to denounce the ads.

“We are aware counterfeit political ads are being circulated and are working with our advertising partner to have them removed,” the organization said in a statement posted to X, formerly Twitter.

The advertisement was reportedly posted at several locations in Philadelphia and also had a link to the Eagles website that included voting information. That information, as of Monday, dated back to before the the Pennsylvania and New Jersey primary elections.

CBS News reported street artist Winston Tseng could be the one behind the poster.

The city is viewing these posters as vandalism.

Since these posters were illegally displayed, the city is working with the advertising company to have them removed by Tuesday, Matt Cassidy, who works with Philadelphia’s Office of Transportation and Infrastructure Systems, said.

In the past, Tseng has melded political topics with popular brands.

For instance, he created a Ben & Jerry’s-like advertisement with President Joe Biden eating an ice cream cone, which was displayed at a Philadelphia SEPTA stop.

The words “Rocky road to democracy” were also on the poster.
