Queen Elizabeth Compares President Trump to…a Helicopter?

Queen Elizabeth was caught making a joke toward President Donald Trump in a clip released Tuesday for a new documentary.

In the clip, the queen is walking through a garden with the documentary’s host, David Attenborough, and a helicopter interrupts their conversation.

“Why do they go round and round when you want to talk?” Queen Elizabeth asked as their conversation was cut short.

“Sounds like President Trump,” she said. “Or President Obama.”

The new documentary focuses on the queen’s love for trees and preserving the world’s forests, and according to an ITV spokesperson, it was rare for Elizabeth to be speaking so informally on camera.

“In the often humorous exchange, the Queen reveals her passion for nature and how the garden’s history is intertwined with that of her family, charting the lives of her children but also delving into the past of her great, great grandparents Queen Victoria and Prince Albert,” the spokesperson said.

The monarch has never given a press interview because she is the head of state and required to remain politically neutral.

While Trump had requested to ride with the queen in the gold-plated carriage last year, the trip had to be postponed. However, another state visit is being planned for October.
