During the 72nd Tony Awards on Sunday night, actor Robert De Niro appeared on stage to present an award when he went into a vulgar speech about President Donald Trump.

In the United States, the profanity he used was censored, but it was not on foreign stations, according to Fox News.

“I’m going to say one thing: F**k Trump,” he stated on stage. “It’s no longer ‘down with Trump,’ it’s ‘f**k Trump.'”

The audience erupted with applause and rose to its feet to give De Niro a standing ovation.

During the National Board of Review Awards in January, the actor said, “This f**king idiot is the president. […] The guy is a f**king fool!”

As he was giving a speech at the Fulfillment Fund in March, De Niro called Trump an “idiot.”

“Look at our president. He made it through the University of Pennsylvania, so he was exposed to a quality education, but he’s still an idiot,” he said. “And he lacks any sense of humanity or compassion.”

De Niro’s comments are the latest in a long line of criticism against Trump.
