Robert De Niro Unloads on Trump: ‘He’s a Mutt’

Since Donald Trump announced his run for the presidency, numerous celebrities haven’t been shy about sharing their political ideas with the world.

Many said they would even leave the country if Trump were to win the election … and we know how that played out.

One of those outspoken celebrities was actor Robert De Niro:

Early on, De Niro made it perfectly clear that he was not only a Hillary Clinton supporter, but that he despised Trump.

In November 2016, during a cocktail reception for the annual Friends of the Israel Defense Forces Western Regional Gala, the actor bluntly stated:

“If you’re supporting Trump, I want nothing to do with you.”

And from the looks of it, not much has changed since then.

In fact, De Niro’s disapproval of the president may be at an all-time high, which would go in accordance with Trump’s all-time low approval ratings:

During an interview on Fox 5’s “Good Day New York” this week, De Niro made some intense statements about the president, which could even shock the most anti-Trump supporter:

“This guy has sullied the presidency, he’s debased the presidency. It’s just beyond surreal what this guy has done.”

De Niro then made a statement about Trump that seemed to come right out of a line from one of his gangster films:

“He’s a mutt.”

Well, De Niro, tell us how you really feel…
