Actress and political activist, Rosario Dawson confirmed that she is dating 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Cory Booker on Thursday.
While walking through Ronald Reagan National Airport, a reporter with TMZ stopped the actress to address rumors that she’s dating Senator Booker. The reporter acknowledged that she frequently visits Capitol Hill and suggested she get involved in politics, a comment she quickly brushed off.
However, Dawson was not so evasive on the next few questions, which were centered around her rumored relationship with Booker.
“I know you’ve been hanging out with Cory Booker” the reporter commented. “Good president-to-be?”
“I think so. Yeah, he’s an amazing human being,” Dawson responded.

A follow-up question about what else the public should know about Booker elicited laughter from the actress, who said, “I’m really grateful, to have been coming to this wonderful city for many, many years,” as she proceeded to show the Cory Booker “We Rise” button on her purse.
When asked directly if she is in a relationship with the senator, she didn’t hesitate to confirm it answering, “Yeah, yes very much so.”
“He’s a wonderful human being, it’s good to spend some time together when we can, we’re very busy.”
“I am just grateful to be with someone who I respect and love and admire so much, who is so brilliant and kind and caring and loving,” she added.
Booker’s relationship status initially caught public attention when he announced that he had a “boo” on “The Breakfast Club,” last month.
