Sarah Sanders Has Solid Response After House Dem Makes Profane Impeachment Comment

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders gave a measured but firm response after newly-elected Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) said she wanted to “impeach the motherf**ker,” referring to President Donald Trump.

Watch below:

Instead of addressing the profanity, Sanders told “Fox & Friends” on Friday that Democrats attacked the president because of how successful he was.

“The only reason that they want to come after this president is because they know that they can’t beat him,” she told Fox News hosts. “They can’t beat him when it comes to a policy debate and they’re not going to beat him when it comes to 2020.”

Sanders also said that it would be difficult to impeach Trump given his success during his first two years in office. Democrats, she argued, had “no solutions for America.”

Watch her comments below:

“I hope that some of these new faces that campaigned on being different and being a change will actually come here to work with the president, work for solutions, and actually look to help the American people, not to help their own political careers,” she said.

As IJR reported earlier, Tlaib didn’t seem to get much pushback from her party’s leadership. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) seemed to distance herself from the profane comment but excused it as “free speech” and nothing “worse than the president has said.”

  1. Absolutely disgusting in the 1940’s this would be treason there is no room for this in America if you don’t like democracy leave and go back to your Muslim country how this disgusting woman got elected ? Dead people votes? She doesn’t represent the college educated (non east or west coast liberal ) woman

  2. She aught to be brought up on charges of Treason for Speaking and using that language to The President of this United States of America. Doesn’t the oath of office address such a thing. If a Representative had spoke to Obama in such a tone they would be jailed. Democrats continue showing their Hypocrisy.

    1. They attacked Obama all the time. Get use to it snowflake.

    2. She wasn’t speaking TO Trump. She was speaking OF Trump. YES her choice of language was NOT APPROPRIATE. TREASON, certainly NOT. If you recall, Trump began his political career by accusing Obama of NOT providing an authentic birth certificate. Despite demanding & receiving actual proof, Trump continued to claim POTUS Obama was born in Kenya. Trump publicly called Obama the FOUNDER of ISIS. Was he jailed? NO! Trump is entitled to the exact degree of respect he showed to Obama.

    3. “She aught to be brought up on charges of Treason for Speaking and using that language to The President of this United States of America.”

Wait, so you are saying that anyone making a comment about the President, off of the floor, can be charged with treason? I didn’t know that.

  3. Wait, Sanders was actually seen in public? That IS news.

    1. I am guessing your down vote came from an IJR reader who believes that FOX News is not public, but “safe space.” Not as if FOX & Friends hosts are going to question her version of ANYTHING. If you listened to the video, Kilmeade incorrectly claimed Pelosi said she wanted “no fencing.” Sanders also claimed Pelosi put more money for foreign aid than protecting Americans—THEY WERE THE SAME CR’s the Senate R”S wrote and passed. Bila’s call for civility was amusingly unaware..

      1. Someone who doesn’t approve of sarcasm? Yes, the SAME CRs, but what does McConnell care? He does politics, not policy.

  4. Anyone who objects to her language must explain why Trump using the same language is acceptable.

    1. Trump didn’t use that language AFTER being elected.
Yes, he used some disturbing language but he was a private citizen at the time.

      1. Have you ever heard him at his rallies? He loosens up there.

    2. Anyone who objected to the President’s language shouldnt be pointing to him as justification for doingbthe same. Be better.
