Stop What You’re Doing and Look at This Photo of an 11-Year-Old Mowing the WH Lawn With Trump

Some dreams do come true.

This summer, the White House began a new tradition of reading aloud some of the letters President Donald Trump received from children. One of those letters had to do with a little boy named ‘Pickle.’ Another had to do with the young man wanting to cut the White House lawn.

Earlier in August, Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders read aloud this letter from a then-10-year-old named Frank offering to cut the White House lawn for free even though he usually charges $8:

The letter read:

It would be my honor to mow the White House lawn some weekend for you. Even though I’m only ten, I would like to show the nation what young people like me are ready for. I admire your business background and have started my business. I have been mowing my neighbors’ lawns for some time. Please see the attached flier. Here’s a list of what I have and you are free to pick whatever you want: power mower, push mower, and weed whacker. I can bring extra fuel for the power mower and charged batteries for the weed whacker. I will do this at no charge.

This week, Sanders announced Frank would be coming to the White House to make good on his offer. On Friday morning, this was the scene in the Rose Garden:

The photo was captioned by White House Staff:

11 year old Frank from Falls Church, VA wrote President Trump a letter asking to cut the White House lawn. Today he did just that.

It actually looks like Trump and Frank are hitting it off quite well.

Watch Trump surprise young Frank while he is mowing, saying “Wow! Great job, Frank!” Frank’s reaction is priceless:

According to a recent interview, Frank typically charges $8 for a lawn mow but offered to do it for Trump for free. He also told Trump he wanted to be a Navy SEAL when he grows up.
