Ex-Porn Star Stormy Daniels Sues Trump — Revealing the President’s Alleged Alias

Former porn star Stormy Daniels, who allegedly had an affair with President Donald Trump, filed a lawsuit against the president of the United States on Tuesday.

The lawsuit claims the nondisclosure agreement she signed is invalid because it was signed by only Daniels and Trump’s attorney, Michael Cohen, on behalf of his client, but not by Trump himself.

As part of the agreement, Daniels — whose legal name is Stephanie Clifford — was reportedly paid $130,000 to keep quiet about the alleged affair before the 2016 election.

NBC News first reported details of the lawsuit:

The suit alleges that Cohen has tried to keep Clifford from talking about the relationship as recently as Feb. 27, 2018.

“To be clear, the attempts to intimidate Ms. Clifford into silence and ‘shut her up’ in order to ‘protect Mr. Trump’ continue unabated,” says the suit. “On or about February 27, 2018, Mr. Trump’s attorney Mr. Cohen surreptitiously initiated a bogus arbitration proceeding against Ms. Clifford in Los Angeles.” Binding arbitration is specified as a means of dispute resolution.

Additionally, the complaint reveals the alias that Trump apparently went by: David Dennison. Though Trump’s name never appears in the so-called “hush agreement,” Daniels’ attorney insists “DD” is Trump.

The lawsuit asks the Los Angeles County Superior Court to declare that the agreements “were never formed, and therefore do not exist, because, among other things, Mr. Trump never signed the agreements.”

If the former porn star wins in court, she would theoretically be cleared to discuss details of the alleged affair with the president.
