Sunny Hostin Voices Support for Investigating Hunter Biden's Foreign Business Dealings

“The View” co-host Sunny Hostin is supporting an investigation into Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings.

On Friday, Hostin discussed the news of Biden’s newest charges related to his purchase of a gun while dealing with a drug addiction.

“No one should be above the law, whether you’re the president or you’re the president’s son. And I believe that firmly,” he began.

She continued, “What is making me a little uncomfortable about the Hunter Biden case is that, you know, 99% of these cases where you have someone that applies for a firearm and they hide the fact that they’re addicted, don’t get prosecuted. So for the fact that, you know, they’re making this a big deal and felony charges, I think that’s political prosecution.”

However, the former federal prosecutor went on to argue that does not mean there are no areas of Biden’s life that warrant investigation.

“What I don’t believe is political prosecution are his business dealings in Ukraine and China. I think that’s something that should be looked into,” Hostin said.

She added:

“I don’t know how he was qualified to work in Ukraine, to work in China. And he also seemed to, in my opinion, present that he had access to his father, there were phone calls like, ‘Let’s speak to the big guy.'”

Devon Archer, a former business associate of Hunter, told House lawmakers last month that then-Vice President Joe Biden would occasionally speak to his son’s business partners — but insisted they did not discuss business dealings.

Archer also testified Hunter Biden “would sometimes make it apparent that he spoke to his dad, and sometimes he put him on speaker” with his business partners.
