An activist confronted Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) about his efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.

Creator of The Undercurrent, Lauren Windsor, posted a video of the interaction. Windsor, who confirmed she was the woman in the video, asked Cruz, “Wondering why you didn’t do more to fight for President Trump on January 6th?”

Cruz replied, “Well I led the objections and the Senate voted it down.”

Windsor suggested, “But you could have done more. I mean, we all know that Joe Biden didn’t win this election. I know in my heart of hearts that Joe Biden did not win this election.”

Cruz reiterated, “I led the fight. At the end of the day, you got to have the votes on the floor of the Senate.”

Windsor also questioned Cruz about what he is going to do to stop “Big Tech from silencing conservatives.”

The senator told her, “I am leading the fight every day, okay?”

Facebook’s decision to ban Trump’s account was upheld by the platform’s independent Oversight Board, as IJR reported.

The board said in a statement Trump’s “posts during the Capitol riot severely violated Facebook’s rules and encouraged and legitimized violence.”

Twitter also blocked an account sharing content from Trump’s new social media platform, as IJR reported.

The Twitter account, named “The Desk of Donald J. Trump,” featured posts from his platform with the same name.

The Twitter account noted it was, “Not Donald J. Trump Tweeting.”

“As stated in our ban evasion policy, we’ll take enforcement action on accounts whose apparent intent is to replace or promote content affiliated with a suspended account,” a Twitter spokesperson said.

Trump blasted Big Tech in a statement, “What Facebook, Twitter, and Google have done is a total disgrace and an embarrassment to our Country.”

He added, “Free Speech has been taken away from the President of the United States because the Radical Left Lunatics are afraid of the truth, but the truth will come out anyway, bigger and stronger than ever before.”
