A “suspicious letter” was sent to the home of Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine), according to a report from Fox News’ Brooke Singman.

Singman reported the letter was sent to Collins’ home in Bangor, Maine, where police and fire crews responded to the scene along with a hazmat team. The FBI was notified about the incident, and the Criminal Investigation Division will further investigate the situation.

Singman also reported that Collins is heading home to Maine, where her husband recently arrived.

These threats come after a harrowing month for Collins due to her pivotal vote in the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. Many on the left understood that she would be a deciding vote, and some used that information to target her.

Before even the sexual misconduct allegations were made against Kavanaugh, Collins was receiving threatening voicemails and bribes in hopes that she would change her vote and stop Kavanaugh from being confirmed.

After the allegations arose against Kavanaugh during the confirmation hearings, the pressure on Collins grew — as did the hostility.

“My office has received some pretty ugly voicemails, threats, terrible things said to my staff,” the senator told WVOM.

In the end, Collins cast one of the deciding votes in favor of confirming Kavanaugh, disappointing many on the left.

Some even referred to Collins as a “fake” feminist, prompting Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) to defend her, saying:

“That they would say [Collins is a fake feminist] after everything thing that she stood for in her lifetime related to feminist issues. She’s been in the forefront of everything.”

Some on Twitter have jumped to judge the rhetoric of some Democratic leaders for the incident at the senator’s home even though many of the details are still unclear:

More information about the suspicious letter sent to Collins will become available as the investigation by the local authorities and FBI continues.

The decision to put Kavanaugh on the SCOTUS was not in the best interest of the country. Despite having a list of Federalist approved pro-corporate anti-labor/consumer judges, Trumpsters got the idea that it was Kavanaugh, no one, or a left-leaning judge. You did the same with Scott Pruitt, who you were willing to overlook his corruption, because you believed it was Scott Pruitt or Al Gore. That was never going to be the case. You mislead yourselves. An oil lobbyist was is waiting to step into the EPA head job.

Don’t worry it’s just Susan’s stinky twat cleaner. What a dummy!
