Police identified 26-year-old Devin Kelley as the gunman behind a shooting that left at least 26 people dead in Texas on Sunday, The New York Times reported.

Images of Kelley emerged on social media:

Kelley was married and reportedly lived in a San Antonio suburb — New Braunfels — and used a photo of an assault rifle for his Facebook cover photo:

Above that photo, Kelley wrote the caption, “She’s a bad b***h”:

That Facebook account was deleted, Daily Beast reported, but a LinkedIn profile appearing to belong to Kelley claimed he served in the U.S. Air Force until 2013 and later taught summer Bible school.

Kelley’s mother-in-law had a P.O. box in Sutherland, the town where he opened fire on churchgoers.

Shortly after the shooting, police sent a K9 unit to the gunman’s home and began searching for explosive devices, San Antonio Express-News reported.

While wearing full combat gear, Kelley entered First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas, and attempted to flee the scene before dying in a neighboring county.

Wilson County Sheriff Joe Tackitt said he believes Kelley died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

A 2-year-old child was among the victims on Sunday. The 14-year-old daughter of the church’s pastor died as well, according to multiple reports.

Kelley allegedly opened fire during a service at the First Baptist Church around 11:30 a.m. local time, alerting a nearby cashier who heard about 20 shots fired.
