On Tuesday morning, President Donald Trump indicated that the U.S. plans to get tougher on North Korea.
The commander in chief tweeted:
Trump's tweet comes amid the news that North Korea has developed a nuclear warhead capable of being fitted on one of their missiles. North Korea's latest ICBM test was its most successful yet, with reports detailing that its weapons could hit the U.S.
The president turned up the heat on North Korea before a briefing on the opioid crisis in America. And he really laid down the hammer.
"North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States. They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen. He has been very threatening beyond a normal statement. And as I said, they will be met with fire, fury, and frankly power, the likes of which this world has never seen before.
Trump didn't take any questions after giving his statement, but he appears to have just put North Korea on notice in a big way.
