The clash of neo-Nazis and white supremacists against counter-protesters in Charlottesville, Virginia, over the weekend left one innocent life lost and dozens injured, but the blame game has been nonstop so far this week.

Twitter users and celebrities have been pointing fingers at President Donald Trump and other Republican leaders for failing to stop or condemn these racist and xenophobic attacks, but one musician has taken it to another level.

New Zealand pop singer Lorde is blaming all white people for the racial issues in the U.S., as well as the attacks in Virginia. She tweeted about it this weekend:

While many showed their support for Lorde, she was met with a quite a bit of resistance, as to be expected:

Trump recently condemned the actions of the Ku Klux Klan, white supremacists, and neo-Nazis in an address to the American people Monday afternoon.
