Within the last week, some of the biggest names in Hollywood have spoken out against Weinstein, saying they were sexually assaulted by him and, as a result, the film company he helped create fired him.
And now his personal life is falling to pieces, as well.
Although earlier in the week Weinstein stated that his wife, Georgina Chapman, was dedicated to standing by him, she recently announced to People that she would be leaving him.
Champman, who has two children with Weinstein, said in a statement to People that the sexual assault allegations were enough to make her leave.
“My heart breaks for all the women who have suffered tremendous pain because of these unforgivable actions. I have chosen to leave my husband. Caring for my young children is my first priority and I ask the media for privacy at this time."
Some of the women now speaking out against Weinstein are actresses Gwyneth Paltrow, Angelina Jolie, Mira Sorvino, and more, The New York Times reports.
