President Donald Trump was asked by Fox News host Laura Ingraham on Thursday night whether he was concerned about a number of unfilled State Department roles — and his response has everyone talking.

Trump said there are “some people” at the State Department who he is not happy with, but he didn’t name any names.

“Let me tell you, the one that matters is me,” Trump said. “I’m the only one that matters — because when it comes to it, that is what the policy is going to be.”

The phrase “I am the only one that matters” was trending on Twitter on Friday.

The president has never been one to censor himself.
