NBC's longtime “Today” host Matt Lauer was fired over sexual misconduct Wednesday.
The news, which is breaching media headlines around the country, was revealed when a memo from Andrew Lack, the NBC News president, stated Lauer was being let go because of “inappropriate sexual behavior.”
While colleagues and fans of Lauer are processing the news, even President Donald Trump has weighed in on the situation, tweeting about Lauer's firing:
Wow, Matt Lauer was just fired from NBC for “inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace.” But when will the top executives at NBC & Comcast be fired for putting out so much Fake News. Check out Andy Lack’s past!

While Trump informed his 43.6 million followers of the news, he went on to address the executives at NBC and Comcast, insinuating they should be fired, too, over all their alleged “fake news.”
