Michelle Cretella, M.D, a pediatrician of nearly 20 years, is smashing through the wall of political correctness on gender, referring to transgenderism as gender dysphoria and calling those who allow children to change their gender child abusers.
On Sunday, The Daily Signal released the wildly popular video on Facebook that has been shared 18,000 times in just one day.
“An Identity is not biological, it is psychological,” Cretella says in the video. “Identity has to do with thinking and feeling. Thoughts and feelings are not biologically hardwired.”
“Sex is determined at conception by our DNA, stamped into every cell of our bodies,” she continued.
“Human sexuality is binary. Either you have a normal Y chromosome and develop into a male, or you don't, and you will develop into a female.”
“There are at least 6,500 genetic differences between men and women,” she said. “Hormones or surgery won't change that.”
And then she drops the real bomb, saying, “Transgender ideology in schools is psychological abuse.”
Cretella has been a board member and researcher for the American College of Pediatricians for the past 12 years and has been serving as the board's president for the last three years.
