Ever since President Donald Trump took office, he has engaged in a rhetorical battle with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
On occasion, that rhetoric has escalated to action — and there have been shows of force on both sides.
“The entire mainland of the U.S. is within the range of our nuclear weapons and the nuclear button is always on the desk of my office.”
President Trump's immediate reaction, given to a reporter at Mar-a-Lago as he wrapped up his holiday vacation, was simple: “We'll see, we'll see.”
But on Tuesday, after he'd had a little more time to consider the reality of Kim's threat, President Trump issued one of his own:
North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un just stated that the “Nuclear Button is on his desk at all times.” Will someone from his depleted and food starved regime please inform him that I too have a Nuclear Button, but it is a much bigger & more powerful one than his, and my Button works!
