Michael's Wolff forthcoming book, “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House,” is dominating the news cycle.
Among some of the claims Wolff makes is that Steve Bannon called the meeting between Donald Trump Jr. and Russian attorney Natalia Veselnitskaya “treasonous.” In addition, the book alleges Melania Trump was in tears over Trump's winning the White House.
President Donald Trump delivered a stinging rebuke to Bannon over the book, saying: “When he was fired, he not only lost his job, he lost his mind.”
On Wednesday, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders responded to questions about Wolff's book.
Sanders said: “So far from what I can tell of the roughly just over a dozen interactions that he had with officials at the White House, I think close to 95 percent were all done so at the request of Mr. Bannon.”
Meghan McCain of “The View” dropped the hammer on Wolff in a fiery tweet:
It is NEXT LEVEL, beyond my comprehension stupidity letting someone like Michael Wolff have unfettered access to the White House, the president and his family. Who exactly on the White House communications team thought this was a good idea? And why do they still have a job?

If anything, as McCain is the only right-leaning individual on “The View,” and she's slamming Wolff, Thursday's episode could have some fireworks.
