Former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino ripped into those, specifically Democrats in Congress, who, according to him, want to “bury” the memo that reportedly details FBI abuse of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.
“Well, this is very, very damaging for the Democrats,” he told “Fox & Friends” on Monday. “Guys, don’t you find it a little bit curious that the Democrats who only seem to be interested in transparency when it comes to everything Donald Trump are now doing everything in their power to bury this memo?”
“I’m telling you, what’s likely to be in this memo is an absolute exposing of the Democrat Party of supporters of police state spying. There is no two ways around it and there is a critical question we have to ask ourselves going forward,” he added.
Bongino is among those who adamantly believes the memo should be released to the public, although there have been some Republicans who say it should not be released at this time, such as Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.).
The Special Counsel is doing exactly what the Democrats wanted it to do. It’s shifting from one false, anti-Trump, narrative to another while distracting Americans from the biggest scandal in modern times, the Obama administration’s spying scandal. #ReleaseTheMemo

“What kind of republic do we want to be? Do you lose your constitutional rights?” he continued.
“Does the Fourth Amendment not apply to you anymore when you are Donald Trump and run for president? The abuse of the police state is likely to be heavy in this memo and it's going to expose the Democrats for everything they have been for a very long time.”
