Former Secret Service Agent Calls Memo 'Most Consequential Political Scandal in American History'

Former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino detailed the significance of the memo released by the House Intelligence Committee during an interview on Fox News on Saturday.

“I don't know what I'm more disgusted by, the memo or the filthy media acolytes and their liberal bootlickers pretending that there's nothing in that memo,” he said.

Bongino added that the memo revealed President Donald Trump's campaign was spied on as the result of a dossier and pointed to former President Barack Obama.

“Let's be absolutely clear here what happened,” he said. “The Obama team, during a critical political election, found a way to circumvent U.S. law, jump over judicial restraints, and found a way to spy on the Donald Trump team.”

The former Secret Service agent declared it “the most consequential — no question — political scandal in American history,” and he added that it was a “shredding of the Constitution.”

“Elements of the police state are already here, and they're all here to rounds of applause by the Democrats and their media buddies,” Bongino told Fox News.

He added that the discussions surrounding the memo aren't “political disagreements” but are “disagreements about who we are as a country.”

Bongino explained that if no action is taken about what happened to Trump's team, then America is already in a “Cold Civil War.”
