The U.S. Air Force has released footage of a B-52 bomber dropping a large payload onto a Taliban training camp in Afghanistan.
According to the Air Force Times, the bombing took place Sunday. The Air Force said the bombing “took out three defensive fighting positions around the camp, degrading the Taliban’s ability to conduct training and operations.”
In total, “24 precision-guided munitions were dropped, the most ever launched by a B-52.”

The larger payloads are not the only things the Taliban have to worry about.
Task & Purpose reported there is a second Mother of All Bombs (MOAB) in Afghanistan ready to be used. “It’s there if we need it,” said Air Force Maj. Gen. James Hecker, commander of coalition air forces in Afghanistan.
“We never take anything off the table,” Hecker added. “Right now, we don’t have a use for it, but if we do, it’s there for us.”
