CNN Asks Iowa Voters What They Think of the Russia Investigation — Their Answers Smash the Narrative

CNN's Martin Savidge headed to Iowa to interview President Donald Trump's supporters to see what they thought of the FBI and the Russia investigation. The answers he got ripped apart every narrative that the media has been pushing.

Savidge sat down with an aerobics instructor, a banker, a former baseball player, and a salesman, who were all Trump supporters and said that he was “exactly who I voted for.”

When Savidge asked if they had faith in the FBI, there was a chuckle and then one man said, “Hell no, absolutely not.” He also explained that the whole investigation also has been a “political witch hunt from the get-go.”

They told Savidge that they believe the FBI has a political bias and that it's not necessarily the FBI, but the “leadership of the FBI” that has “politicized” the investigation.

“In this situation, the people at the top of the food chain have decided that they don't like the game. They're going to change it. They're going to play by their rules.”

They also agreed with Trump on questioning the “allegiance of justice department officials.” However, they do not think that Trump has tried to obstruct the investigation because he said, “Bring it on!”

They explained that Trump is not afraid of special counsel Robert Mueller and that they do not want to see Mueller fired, either. They all agreed that they just want to see the investigation over.
