Donald Trump is now on his fourth White House communications director, after Trump's first comms director Mike Dubke resigned, was replaced on an interim basis by Sean Spicer, who then resigned after the flaming shitshow that was Anthony Scaramucci's hiring.

After replacing Scaramucci in an acting capacity, former acting White House Communications Director Hope Hicks has now been officially named to the post permanently (via email from The White House):

President Donald J. Trump today announced the following White House appointments:

Hope Hicks will serve as Assistant to the President and Communications Director. Ms. Hicks previously served as Assistant to the President and Interim Communications Director.

Hicks' elevation comes after years working in both the Trump Organization and the Trump campaign as a part of Trump's “inner circle.”

Hicks is also a pal of First Daughter Ivanka Trump, who tweeted chirpy congratulations on the interim appointment during White Supremacy Week. Now that the post is permanent, though, it appears someone is trying to put some distance between Hicks and Ivanka.

While she was Trump Organization communications director, Hope Hicks modeled Ivanka's “Spring Collection” in 2015, but the webpage, which was live as recently as August 27, has been disappeared. The archived page, though, shows Hicks modeling a pale green dress, and features several quotes from Hicks:

For Hope Hicks, The Trump Organization’s director of communications, a typical workday could include a major meeting, an all-day event or even an out-of-state trip. She gravitates toward pieces that will last through a plane ride or through the various phases of a work event (setup and teardown included).

“In this outfit, I can jump on the shuttle to D.C. to do press for our upcoming hotel and come back to NYC in time for drinks with my boyfriend without having to change.” —Hope Hicks

Hope looks for pieces that are effortlessly polished. “Dresses are easiest for me, especially on the road. I don’t have to think about pulling together an outfit. It’s one piece to put on, and then I’m out the door.” The dress’ elegant, springy color and classic, easy-to-wear shape don’t hurt either. “I love that this dress works with pretty much any variation of the Carra pumps, which I now own in every color!” When she’s working an event, Hope needs a bag that can hold her prep documents, a portable iPhone charger, hand sanitizer and stacks of business cards. She throws everything in the Hopewell Clutch and tucks it under her arm so she’s free to network and get things done.

It seems there's nothing this bunch won't try to cover up, even a sweet gig like modeling for Ivanka Trump.

Here's a screenshot of the page as it appeared, before Ivanka's site scrubbed it:
