In a Thursday interview on CNN, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) harshly criticized those who wish to paint President Donald Trump as a “kook” or someone who's “unfit” for the office.

“You know, what concerns me about the American press is this endless, endless attempt to label the guy as some kind of kook not fit to be president,” Graham said.

But in a way, Graham was only criticizing himself.

CNN's Jake Tapper pointed out the contrast between Graham's remarks Thursday and what Graham once said during the 2016 presidential race.

“Now, I have never said — and I don't think anyone here has ever said that the president is a kook or that he's unfit to be president,” Tapper explained. “But you know who has?”

A 2016 clip from a Fox News interview highlighted Graham's hypocrisy:

“I think he's a kook. I think he's crazy. I think he's unfit for office.”

“What a difference a year makes,” Tapper remarked.

What a difference indeed. You can watch the clip from CNN below.
