‘Democrat on Democrat Crime’: ‘The View’ Hosts Join in Mocking the Feud Between AOC and Pelosi

“The View” ladies are taking notice of the infighting going on in the Democratic caucus, notably between Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.).

The two Democrats have had their subtle jabs at each other. However, Ocasio-Cortez continued to take aim at the House speaker after Pelosi put her foot down, sending a message to the controversial freshman Democrats — including Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.), and Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) — to not “tweet about our members and expect us to think that that is just OK.”

Ocasio-Cortez took up the topic of the growing feud between the two, as she accused Pelosi of “the explicit singling out of newly elected women of color.”

During Thursday’s segment on “The View,” co-host Whoopi Goldberg expressed her distaste for the newly-elected Congress members accusing “older Democrats” of “not getting what needed to be done in the county.”

“When you start out telling people that they don’t know what they’re doing and get out of the way, it’s annoying to people,” Goldberg added. “I don’t think this had to do with color. I think this is more B.S.”

The co-hosts pointed to senior Democratic leaders, such as Pelosi and Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), who have been serving for a number of years. Host Sunny Hostin called the spat a “generational clash.”

Additionally, co-host Meghan McCain set the freshman Democrats straight by saying it was Pelosi “who delivered midterms” for the party.

Mocking the Democrats’ feuds, McCain said, “It’s Democrat on Democrat crime.” She added that Republicans “don’t do this.”

Watch the video below:

Pelosi said during Thursday’s press conference that she’s done discussing the infighting in the caucus.

“I’m not going to be discussing it any further,” she said, adding, “I said what I’m going to say.”

While Pelosi has halted public discussion about the matter, Ocasio-Cortez is still working to clarify her comments. When confronted by a reporter about if she thinks the House speaker is racist, Ocasio-Cortez responded, “No, no, absolutely not.”

Several Republican leaders are calling out the infighting among the Democratic caucus.

In response to Ocasio-Cortez’s claim that Pelosi is “signaling out” women of color, Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-Texas) welcomed the House Speaker to “the true nature of identity politics.” He claimed that Pelosi had entered the same playing field as Republicans, “where you’re accused of being racist for no reason at all, and where intellectually lazy insults are used against you as a way to replace substantive debate of your argument or idea.”

Noting the congresswomen were on the Rolling Stone magazine cover together, — as the women who are “shaping the future” — House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) said, now the “stones [are] being thrown at one another.”

House Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) pointed out that the back-and-forth between Democrats is “ugly and getting uglier.”

“It’s literally liberals versus socialists and the socialists are winning,” Scalise said. “And for Nancy Pelosi to think that she can silence A.O.C. and these others these other far left socialists, just shows that she’s out of touch with what is happening in her own conference. And that, I think, is shocking a lot of people.”

Until the rest of congress joins Pelosi in putting “the squad” in their place, this nonsense will continue. As entertaining as all this is, it needs to stop!

It’s more than “inter-generational”. It’s about how far Left the party is willing to go in it’s quest for power. By embracing minorities of minorities they’ve literally painted themselves into a corner where not many voters are stupid enough to go.

Consider the 2020 Dim wannabes. They are not only much further Left than the majority of their voters, they love it. Consider McConnell’s opponent. Even Gropin’ Joe veered hard Left.

Now the Dims are reaping the fruits of “identity politics” and “playing the race card”. Good.

Welcome to the Thunderdome Nancy: Two Dems enter, one Dem leaves.

HEY, let them fight. It would mean a guaranteed win of the House in 2020 and the return of the Speaker’s gavel to a Republican. And it should not matter WHO the Republican is. It’ll mean the beginning of Congress working for Americans after an absence of 3 years of doing NOTHING by the Socialist Left.
