Democratic Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) recounted the time she smoked Marijuana in college, while, according to her, listening to Snoop Dogg and Tupac Shakur — “The View” ladies have a lot of thoughts on it.
During a radio interview with “The Breakfast Club” on Monday, Harris admitted that she smoked “a joint” while she was in college, as IJR Blue noted.
When asked what she listened to while smoking, she said “definitely Snoop, Tupac for sure” — Snoop and Tupac didn’t debut until after her college years.

The ladies of “The View” were all over the place with their takes on the 2020 Democratic presidential contender.
Co-host Meghan McCain said she believes marijuana should be medicalized, but then called out Harris’ “weird lie.”
“She said she smoked listening to Tupac and Snoop Dog. She graduated from Howard University in 1986 and finished law school in 1989. Tupac’s debut album came out in 1991, Snoop’s in 1993.”
McCain urged Harris, “Don’t try and be too cool,” adding, “just try and fix our country.”
McCain’s comments were followed by co-host Sunny Hostin’s, who took a jab at President Donald Trump during the discussion of Harris.
“I think that Trump has lowered the bar so low that it’s not going to matter that she smokes some pot during Tupac or during Biggie or during Beyonce or during anything,” Hostin mockingly said.
The frequent critic of President Trump Joy Behar also took a stab at the president saying “in the age of Trump,” she believes marijuana “should be mandatory.”

Later Monday, Harris took to Twitter to make clear her stance on marijuana.
“It’s time we legalized marijuana at the federal level. Marijuana laws are not applied or enforced in the same way for all Americans, many whose lives have been ruined by these regressive policies,” she wrote. “We must change the system.”
Let me be clear: it’s time we legalized marijuana at the federal level. Marijuana laws are not applied or enforced in the same way for all Americans, many whose lives have been ruined by these regressive policies. We must change the system.

Harris’ statement about her choice of music proving false while smoking marijuana in college is only the latest remark the 2020 Democratic contender has drawn criticism for. As IJR Red reported, Harris came under fire for her call to “eliminate” all private health insurance.
